Stage 2 of the “Banff Refreshing” (Mid-July through October) is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.
The final Stage 3 is scheduled for May 2008 when they will do the final lift of asphalt and complete the landscaping.

I just discovered your Banff Blog today, it is great. I am so glad! Thanks so much for all the information you are providing. We love the Banff and Lake Louise area, been there twice and plan to spend Christmas in Banff again this year.
Regarding the construction, stage 2 will be completed at the end of October, therefore what can we expect if we are there in December.
Thanks again for a great blog, I already bookmarked it, and I will be visiting often.

Thank you for your comment. In December the Town of Banff will be back to normal you’ll be glad to hear. In my recent post, I have noted that the whole project should be completed in June, when they will finish the landscaping.
Banff really does look great – they have done a fantastic job!
